Looking for strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, this person will streamline the budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes.
The controller will also produce thorough financial-status reports for senior managers to help improve operational efficiency and aid in continued growth.
Objectives of this roleProvide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data pointsGuide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscapeDevelop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelinesAchieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actionsMaximize payroll efficiency through innovative process developmentHelp develop and support short- and long-term operational strategiesResponsibilitiesMaintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expendituresEstablish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basisImplement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, adhering to national and local legal standards while remaining knowledgeable of proposed legislationDevelop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflowsOversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.
Report Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly financials to Board and management.
Manage and coordinate IT with Outside computer support professionals.
Manage Monthly Billing cycle.
Enter budgets and update contracts to reflect change orders.
Know how to do all functions within the accounting and HR department.
Required skills and qualifications2
years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of Construction accounting and financial data analysisWorking knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting as an Employee owned company.
Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processesExemplary history of financial project managementPreferred skills and qualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related fieldseveral years of experience as a accountant or finance manager or auditor About the Company:
