Elementary School is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time position.
The school has one open position available.
The caseload includes 14 students ranging from Kindergarten to 4th grade.
There is a possibility of changing the instructional model to focus on intensive needs students, depending on the candidate's experience.
If the model is changed, the focus will be on 6 students with more extensive special education cases.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Special Education license in Maine Familiarity with reading intervention programs such as Orton Billingham or Seeing Stars Experience with IEP paperwork, referral process, and strong organizational skills Committed attitude towards supporting students with special needs Requirements:
